4 Inch Flat Top Wheels

Frost 4″ flat top wheels are flanged wheels with a 4″ tread diameter, a 1 3/8″ minimum rolling face and a 5″ flange, with a double row ball bearing built into the wheel.

Sealed for life

The wheels listed here use a double row retainer bearing: two rows of seven 13/32″ chrome steel balls separated by a nylon retainer, with spring loaded contact lip seals on each side that keep lubricant in and contaminants out. They are factory lubricated and need no relubrication, built for transportation lines with minimal maintenance that still take the abuse of flat-top chain.

Treads are turned steel hardened to Rockwell C-58 minimum, and the inner race is bored for a 7/8″ or 1″ axle with a slot for cotter pinning. Wheels run on 30# A.S.C.E. rails. Part numbers marked * have a 5/32″ offset keyway.
