Clean Over the Part
Open trolleys need automatic oilers to lubricate them in operation. However, fully sealed Frost trolleys ship grease packed, which keeps oil off the parts moving below the line.
Cure Oven Heat
High temperature roller turn rollers carry an 800°F continuous rating. In addition, high temperature contact lip seals carry a 400°F continuous rating.
Consistent Spacing
Smooth Link® chain has cold-formed pins that reduce wear and variation in strand length. As a result, spacing stays consistent through every process.
Planned Maintenance
Frost chain wear monitoring can run 24/7, so maintenance is scheduled around production instead of after a failure.

How do you keep conveyor oil off aerospace parts?

Frost retainer wheels are rated to 325°F, while full ball complement wheels are rated to 500°F. High temperature roller turn rollers go up to 800°F continuous.

What is the difference between retainer and full ball trolley wheels?
The quickest way to tell them apart is to count the balls. A 4 in retainer wheel has 8 balls, while a 4 in full ball complement wheel has 13. Retainer wheels are rated to 325°F and full ball wheels to 500°F.
How hot can a contact lip seal run?
The standard contact lip seal carries a 275°F continuous rating. The high temperature version carries a 400°F continuous rating, so it suits cure ovens.
Can conveyor chain wear be monitored?
Yes. Frost wear monitoring can run 24/7, so maintenance is planned around production. Frost also offers chain wear analysis and chain strain analysis.
