Industrial Conveyor Chain and Trolleys
General manufacturing lines change product, not conveyors. Frost supplies industrial conveyor chain, both overhead and enclosed track, plus trolleys, wheels and replacement parts for plating, powder coat, finishing and assembly lines.
Where Frost Fits in Your Plant
Plating
Plating and pretreatment lines put chain and trolleys through acid, rinse and steam. Zinc or YZD coated chain, stainless chain and sealed wheels hold up to that corrosion. Read more
Powder Coat and Finishing
Wash, dry-off, booth and cure all run on the conveyor. Powder and paint find open bearings, and ovens cook standard ones, so Frost builds sealed wheels and high temperature roller turn rollers for finishing lines. Read more
Enclosed Track Lines
Lighter parts on tight layouts often run on enclosed track. Frost ET chain includes Uni-flex, Zig-Zag and Eisenmann compatible styles, plus Mongoose chain for heavy duty work. Read more
Assembly and Material Handling
Overhead monorails and hand pushed systems move parts between cells, storage and assembly. Frost hand pushed I-beam trolleys come in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton capacities. Read more
Mixed Loads, Long Runs
Chain and trolleys get specified for the worst case, not the average. That is why Frost makes X-Type chain in 2, 3, 4 and 6 in pitch, with overhead and inverted trolleys to match. Read more
Quality Checked and Proof Loaded
Every strand of Frost chain is proof loaded and quality checked before it ships. Frost X-Type chain also meets or exceeds ANSI B29.22 and CEMA 601. Read more
Applications
From overhead monorails to enclosed track and hand pushed systems, these are the Frost applications found across general manufacturing. Each one runs on Frost industrial conveyor chain, trolleys or parts.
Questions We Hear
Does Frost make Zig-Zag compatible enclosed track chain?
Yes. Frost makes Zig-Zag compatible and Eisenmann compatible enclosed track chain. Frost also makes Uni-flex and heavy duty Mongoose chain.
What finishes are available for X-Type chain?
Frost X-Type chain comes plain, zinc coated or YZD (yellow zinc dichromate) coated. It also comes in stainless steel for washdown areas.
How do I know if my conveyor chain is worn out?
Worn chain reads long when you measure the pitch. For a full picture, Frost offers chain wear analysis, chain strain analysis and a 37 point conveyor system health assessment. Permanent wear monitoring is also available.
What X-Type chain sizes does Frost make?
Frost makes X-Type chain in 2, 3, 4 and 6 in pitch: X-248, X-348, X-458 and X-678. How to measure conveyor chain.
Can Frost replace chain from another supplier?
Yes. Frost chain fits most existing track systems, and Frost X-Type chain meets or exceeds ANSI B29.22 and CEMA 601. So it replaces chain from other suppliers that is not performing.
Does Frost make conveyor roll bearings and rollers?
Yes. Frost makes conveyor roll bearings for material handling and conveyor applications. It also makes double row rollers for heavy load guide and support.
